The CIMS tablet software requests two senstive privileges that requires this privacy statement in order to be released on Google Play. The two permissions, android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE and android.permission.GET_ACCOUNTS are only used to provide the application's synchronization functionality. No user data or account information is sent over unencrypted channels, information sent is only sent to the user-configured CIMS server, and only for the purpose of authentication and data synchronization.
